George Mason University Active Threat Training Video Premiere

Safety, Emergency, & Enterprise Risk Management and University Police cordially invite you to attend the premiere of a new active threat video designed to educate students, faculty, and staff on ways to prevent and respond to potential active threats on campus.  Please plan to join us at the Johnson Center Cinema on Tuesday, July 31st, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  Refreshments and snacks will be served.

This video features Mason students and employees; this premier is being arranged to recognize their contribution to this effort and provide you with an opportunity to view this video before it is released to the community.  Unlike many active threat training videos that focus almost exclusively on how to respond to an active threat, this short film emphasizes prevention as well as response. Filmed by a professional production agency, this training resource will become an important resource in Mason’s active threat preparedness campaign.

Complete the short form below to RSVP or to submit your regrets for this event.

Please note this event will be open to students, faculty, staff, and the public.
