Non-Medical Volunteers
Qualifications: MD, DO, PA, RN, NP, LPN, Pharmacist, Pharmacy Intern, Pharmacy Technician, EMS ProviderQualifications: Nursing Students with no current license currently enrolled in Mason's School of Nursing.Qualifications: With the exception of Translators, no specific experience is required for non-medical roles. On-the-job training is provided.

Vaccinator: Administers vaccine and logs patient information.

Supervised Vaccinator: Under the direct supervision of a Clinical Faculty member, administers vaccine and logs patient information.

Electronic Participant Check-in: Completes an electronic check-in process for all vaccine recipients.

Pedestrian Traffic Control: Keep the clinics moving efficiently by helping direct vaccine recipients where to go throughout their appointment process.

Patient Observer: Observes patients for the 15-30 minute waiting period after they have received vaccine, and immediately signals for help in the event of a medical emergency.

Translators: Provide translation services to vaccine recipients whose primary language is not English.

Health Information Scribe: Helps vaccinators make notes of a patient's pertinent medical history prior to the administration of their vaccine.
